Proud Mama Moment

My little kid can float! And I am one proud Mama! It's so funny to watch. She grabs the handles on each side of the bath-tub and then leans back or forward and lifts her little body off the bottom of the tub. Voila! Floating. We have it on video. :)

She is also remarkably helpful in the kitchen these days. If you need a wisk licked clean, Pia is the girl for you. She is good at reorganizing the refrigerator and the cabinets, and stirring brownie mix for me.

Pia is a voracious reader. She loves to read. She loves to have people read to her. It's wonderful. It makes me so happy.

She can almost jump, and enjoys taking the pillows off the sofa and running/bouncing back and forth. She thinks it funny, and so do I. She tries to be funny, too-repeating behaviors that we laugh at. It's so cute.

Her hair is growing, hooray! Hooray!

Mostly, she is growing to love Jesus! She loves our Lady! She loves her rosary and her Bible. Her behavior in Mass is very good. She loves the music there, and sometimes even dances to it. Funny. Holy. Helpful. Clever. Sweet. I am one proud and blessed Mama.
